About Me

My name is Samuel Mayo, and I am currently a legal assistant working for The Carlson Law Firm in their Round Rock office. I now have over one year of experience working in the legal field and have the skills necessary to work in any area of law. Whether it is personal injury, family law, or criminal law, I am up for the task and ready to help clients navigate the finer details of their legal issues, as well as support attorneys in getting the job done.

I earned my undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Political Science. I was involved in Madison's oldest student newspaper, The Daily Cardinal, where I served as both a writer and advertising manager, as well as the UW-Madison Ad Club, where I helped local businesses with their advertisements.

I was born and raised in Brownsville, TX, but moved to Milwaukee, WI, when I was 12 years old in 2014. I spent 10 years in Wisconsin before moving back to Texas, settling in the Austin Metropolitan area to be closer to my family.
